Finished setting up the classroom! (pictures)

After about 3 days of work in the classroom, everything is now set up for the start of school!  That is, if it ever gets here!  We were supposed to start on Monday, August 15th, but weekend storms caused power outages, blocked roads, etc., so it was pushed back a day.  Well, today is Tuesday, August 16th, and school was canceled again because all of the schools weren't up and ready to go yet.  I'm not complaining; it gave me two extra days of summer and planning, and I'm sure the kids enjoyed it, too!

The school district has officially set the first day of school for tomorrow, Wednesday, August 17th.  Finally!  I'm actually ready to get back into "school mode" after meeting some of the kids at the Parent Institute last Friday!  I'm planned and ready to go; let's just hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow.  I hope to post tomorrow about how our first day went so be sure to check back in Wednesday evening!
